Hayley Fluid Power secured a last 14 position out of 200 entries for the inaugural Tarmac Innovation Challenge that took place at Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, May 2018.
The Innovation Challenge saw a host of suppliers' present ideas and solutions that would add-value to clients and customers across the wider industry. Entries were diverse, including everything from drone technology to monitoring software.
Hayley Fluid Power presented their Pump-saver device, commercially-proven technology that can reduce compressed air consumption by a minimum of 60%.
John Jones, fluid power director, said: "I’m immensely proud of the Hayley team and the work they have done in making our new energy-saving innovation a success.
"Being scrutinised by Tarmac’s senior management team and getting down to final few is a real testament to the technology.”
